At Esperanza Azteca, we believe that music education can help you to realize your highest potential.
Music education helps develop language, memory, eye-hand coordination, emotional maturity, pattern recognition, imagination, and curiosity. You’ll experience group activities that will build your self confidence and introduce you to friends and mentors you’ll take with you in life.
Our free, conservatory-style program meets after school for 3 hours every day. As a member of the orchestra, you will have 15 teaching artists, conductor, academic tutors, and homework time at your disposal. You will learn the fundamentals of music, attend group and private vocal or instrument lessons, as well as full orchestra rehearsals. Most of our participants have no previous musical experience. All you need is a positive attitude and the desire to learn.
In the process, you’ll discover: teamwork, discipline, loyalty, honesty, excellence, and respect. These values could prove to be your passport a successful future.
